If you are coming for the first time to Kalamos by car and you use a GPS or a maps system please be aware, that although they show the shorter direction, this is not always the best road!

For that, please drive first to Argalasti and then from Argalasti to Kalamos, as per map on the right.

Please avoid driving through Afissos - Lefokastro to Kalamos.

The road proposed by the most systems, not through Argalasti, are narrow and you might have difficulties or not even be able to drive through.
